Who runs the Tamar Trails?

The Trails themselves…

 

The Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project established the trails for public use, at the end of this project a legacy group was created to manage the trails network. The legacy group now make all key decisions about the trails. This group is a partnership between West Devon Borough Council, Devon County Council, the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Tamar Adventures Ltd, The Tamar Community Trust and Woodland Riders.

The Car park…

The car park at Tamar Trails is managed by West Devon Borough Council. They are responsible for all ticket and enforcement enquiries.

The Tamar Trails Centre…

Tamar Adventures Ltd, trading as Tree Surfers, Canoe Tamar and Tamar Trails manage the Centre and Cafe including the toilets. They operate all their activities from the centre in addition to being the information centre for the trails, the heritage and the wildlife.
