Volunteer with the Trail makers at the Tamar Trails Friday 10th March 2017 10.30am to 4.00pm Meet at: Tamar Trails car park Trees, drains, hedges: Following our recent success in clearing surface leaf litter, we shall continue along the Railway Trail, making the hard surface accessible again to Trail users.  Perhaps everyone will be able to come back from a day on the Trails looking a bit cleaner in future! Devon Great Consols… Then & Now – Guided Walk

Join a guided walk along some of the Tamar Trails network to explore the restored industrial remains at Devon Great Consols mine, the biggest copper mine in Europe just 100 years ago. Rick Stewart, Mining Historian, will explain all about one of the most important mines of the Tamar Valley area. Walk is steep in some sections but on a good trail surface.
