Family Fun Day proved to be a brilliant start to the Tamar Valley Festival this bank holiday weekend, with the sunshine bringing smiles to everyones faces! The Tamar Trails Centre lawn is a wonderful place for lounging in the sun…it’s a pretty good view!
The activity sessions throughout the day went down really well, with kids taking part in creative and survival style bush craft sessions, along with an enchanted storytelling in the woods, scavenger hunts and a multitude of trail based activities!
For the more adventurous…Tree Surfers had lots of people swinging around and jumping out of the Tree Tops taking advantage of the discounted Taster Sessions on offer!
A very fun day was had by the team at the Centre, we got the chance to talk about and share the trails with new visitors, were tempted by James from Kountry Kit with his display stand of technical outdoor kit and it was a great way to start the Tamar Valley Festival week and the full time opening of the Centre for the season ahead!
Family activity packs will be available throughout the summer from the Tamar Trails Centre and can be collected for free if you’d like to take them out on your walk with you! Enjoy the rest of the Half Term!
