Walking is a perfect way to explore and enjoy the Tamar Valley.
Join the team at the Tamar Trails Centre to find out about walking opportunities in the Tamar Valley and the routes which you can explore at your leisure throughout the Tamar Valley

Pick up Free family activity sheets that will guide you around the Trails, or try your hand at Geocaching. Whilst you search for signs of spring, you may even spot a fairy or two!
Just drop into the Tamar Trails Centre to start your adventure!
Take your family along our pushchair friendly route, where you will pass through woodland with spectacular views across the Tamar Valley, and along the old mineral railway that once linked Devon Great Consol mine with the river port of Morwellham.
Jane Hyde will be on hand in the afternoon to offer free advice about how to prevent injuries and looking after yourself before and after long walks. Also, how to effectively use walking poles. This will be a brilliant opportunity to get fabulous advice from a trained and Chartered physiotherapist.
