Outdoor Poetry for Families – with Riverside Studio

We will lead you on a walk through the landscape at Tamar Trails with frequent stops to observe and experience the beauty of nature through all of your senses. At every stop we will ask you to make notes of your experiences, to put into words all that you see, hear, smell, taste and touch.
On returning to the Café, we will spend some time gathering your words together to create a family poem that captures the afternoon.
Each family will take away with them a printed copy of their poem, ready for framing, and a copy can also be e-mailed home on request.
We are also able to offer you the opportunity to commission a unique, one-off artwork based on your family poem: chosen extracts from you poem will be exquisitely carved on Cornish slate as a permanent reminder of your day at Tamar Trails. Please see the workshop leaders for details.
