Tales of Cornish Geology

June 1, 2014

FREE

The Royal Geological Society of Cornwall will bring drama to the Tamar Trails. If you are interested in Cornish culture, history, geology, theatre and drama then this is not to be missed!

The play forms part of an effort to re-invigorate an interest in Cornwall’s geological heritage and its impact on Cornish culture and language. With Cornwall being the second oldest
geological society in the world, this promenade play shows how important Cornwall’s geology is to Cornish history. With just two actors, the play is likely to surprise and provoke – is Cornwall just a sleepy scenic place….?

Meanwhile, in the Education Room at the Tamar Trails Centre, there will be an experiential exhibition of life underground in mines, something to tantalise your senses further. With sound clips and video images you will be able to take yourself deep underground. Suitable for all ages.

We apologise that we do not have the final details available at the time of print. Please check the Tamar Valley AONB website for more information www.tamarvalley.org.uk, www.facebook.com/TVAONB or call 01822 835030 for further information nearer to the event.
