Mini Miners Adventure

This is your chance to scruff up, shove on old clothes and join us exploring what it was like to be a miner for copper and other ores in the Tamar Valley.

Using our hands and eyes we’ll search for quirky woodland treasures to recreate our own Mini Miners. With some pre-cut and drilled pieces, copper wire, and other woodland finds, we will make a characterful mini miner to take home.

Followed by a Miner’s packed lunch around the camp fire, learn how to make simple breads to cook over the fire. After lunch, with sticks we have found, stones and a blob of clay, we will build your miner a mini woodland hut to call home.
