Devon Great Consols… Then & Now

Join a guided walk along some of the Tamar Trails network to explore the restored industrial remains at Devon Great Consols mine, which was the biggest copper mine in Europe just 100 years ago.

Rick Stewart, Mining Historian, will explain all about one of the most important mines of the Tamar Valley area. Walk is steep in some sections but on a good trail surface. Suitable for an off-road mobility scooter (a tramper is available to hire from Treesurfers, please pre-book). Well-behaved dogs welcome.

Please note there is a small parking charge at the Trails Centre.
