Hidden Hibernation – Workshop

Bedford United Revealed

Enjoy a guided tour of one mile around Bedford United, to discover the history & archaeology of this mine site. Exploring the Tamar Trails, A Devon Great Consols Adventure

Join the Tamar Community Trust and Friends of the Tamar Valley for a leisurely walk from the Tamar Trails Centre to Devon Great Consols and Scrub Tor on a variety of the Tamar Trails. This 7-8 mile walk takes about 4 hours. Bring sturdy shoes, waterproofs and picnic. Walk is steep in some sections. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Suitable for children over 10 years.

As part of our Family Fun Day, Tree Surfers are offering taster sessions on all activities!!! Try out our HIGH ROPES COURSE, 1 hour £10! See if you like the thrill of tackling obstacles high up in the woodland canopy. ZIP-WIRE £5! Conquer a rather tall tree and enjoy a speedy flight through the canopy back down to the ground. TREE-JUMP £5! Get your fix of adrenalin by scaling a tree and leaping off the platform for a freefall ride down to the ground. ARCHERY £5!

Tamar Grow Local – Producers Market

Tamar Grow Local Producers Market will be at the Tamar Trails Centre on 26th October 2013. Come along and sample some of the Tamar Valleys most scrumptious food and drink. An array of locally made mustards, crisps, flour, apple juice and honey as well as a great selection of seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers. Come and feast your senses with this fab market.   • Opening Times

    The Beech Cafe is open every day from 10am, except Mondays.

    The Trails are open every day, dawn till dusk throughout the year.

    Tree Surfers activities, bike hire and tramper hire are now closed until February 2018. It will then be open at February half term and then every weekend and every school holiday, until November 2018.
