Geocaching

The miners of old in this area were all looking for treasure. The original miners on site were looking for copper, but many of them took their skills around the world to mine for gold and other treasures.

The Tamar Trails is proud to continue that tradition with a modern twist with a series of fabulous geo cache points.

So whether you’re a keen treasure hunter or simply a family looking for something exciting to do on the weekend, why not visit the Tamar Trails and track down the geocaching treasure!

To start your adventure you will need to log onto the www.geocaching.com site, which is free. Here you can access information about how to geocache, what you will need, and how to access the locating maps.
