Visit us at the Tamar Trails Centre and collect your Trail Bag…then venture outside and follow the clues around the woods. Our New Attraction – The Bird Feeder Tree!

Exciting new developments are taking place at the Tamar Trails in the Tamar Valley between Tavistock and Gunnislake. This week see’s the installation of an eagerly anticipated sculptural Bird Feeder Tree. A productive winter!

Tamar Trails in the Winter “While most people are hiding indoors during the cold, wet and short days recently, our intrepid Valley Volunteers have been out there putting in the new sign posts that will guide visitors to the Trails.   • Opening Times

    The Beech Cafe is open every day from 10am, except Mondays when we are closed. When the cafe is open bike hire and tramper hire are also available.

    The Trails are open every day, dawn till dusk.

    Canoe trips will start again in spring 2019

    Tree Surfers activities and archery are open every weekend and every school holiday, until the end of October 2018.
